A QF carb is a Holley "type" carb. QF machines/casts many of their own parts (metering blocks, power valves, throttle plates, etc). They are a performance based company and their carbs reflect that. Their carbs usually have more of the extra tuning aids built into them and their tech help is excellent!!!! (Marty, Zach, & Robby ) I think that the more adjustments on the carb the more engine modifications that you can make in the future with less chance of having to buy a new carb. The vacuum secondary carb that I posted earlier would work well for your combo, especially with the 3:23 gears.

Also, many of the componants used in there carbs are much better than stock holley parts. Again this is a performance carb, and that's what people want when you buy one of these. Everything from the high flow squirter bolts and power valves to the high flow main bodies and throttle shafts. These carbs are engineered to a level much higher than the out of the box holley, and they work very, very well. You won't find too many carbs that will perform better.
