Okay what carb should I go with? I am thinking of one of three, a Holley street avenger 670cfm, a demon jr. 725 cfm or a eddie Thunder 650 cfm all manual choke and vacuum sec. What I have is a 71 340, .030 over TRW forged pistons, J-Heads with big valves and I should be be around 9:2:1 maybe 9:4:1 Comp. with a med. purple cam, don't know specs, hi-po mopar elec. ign., headers, 904 with a shift kit. Also what kind of stall should I have with 3.23 gears, Thanks..

I will throw in another suggestion. Quick Fuel makes the 650 Pro Vac for $323.

At the below address, look under Reman Carbs.

What are some of the benefits with the quick fuel over the others? Are there any? I don't know much about them...

A QF carb is a Holley "type" carb. QF machines/casts many of their own parts (metering blocks, power valves, throttle plates, etc). They are a performance based company and their carbs reflect that. Their carbs usually have more of the extra tuning aids built into them and their tech help is excellent!!!! (Marty, Zach, & Robby )
I think that the more adjustments on the carb the more engine modifications that you can make in the future with less chance of having to buy a new carb.
The vacuum secondary carb that I posted earlier would work well for your combo, especially with the 3:23 gears.

Also, many of the componants used in there carbs are much better than stock holley parts. Again this is a performance carb, and that's what people want when you buy one of these. Everything from the high flow squirter bolts and power valves to the high flow main bodies and throttle shafts. These carbs are engineered to a level much higher than the out of the box holley, and they work very, very well. You won't find too many carbs that will perform better.

I have a similar setup and I have a 750 Eddy and love it. My father also has the same carb on his 440 Cuda.
