My only thoughts are that pre 1970, all of the distributor boots are 180's, except for number 8.(we think) We are not trying to be concourse, just give customers something that looks mostly correct but performs better than anything else available..Thanks for the feedback. We send them with the markers so customers know which lead goes where.. Thanks, Rick G

Sorry, no time to check out that link. However, I believe the Moparts member SUPERSTOCKRACER is the current owner of one of the lowest mileage original A12 Road Runners and I'm sure whatever his plug wire setup is could be considered correct, too. I have an old Mopar Action that has pictures of his car & engine compartment, but it's filed away somewhere and not readily accessible to see what those pictures show.

What ever you think is right. David Wise runs what I think is the country's best recognized judging outfit for concourse judging of Mopar's at National events...published several guides on what to look for.

I agree. Someone had those date coded wires on their fresh engine, and it backfired all the way down the track. He switched to ours and I think he made a Chrysler division stamp for the yellow lettering.
