Will regular old Felpro gaskets be ok to use, or do I need the Edelbrock gaskets? Also, the bypass fitting that goes into the manifold I found at the local dealer wanted $83 dollars for it..will a 3" 3/4" NPT piece of pipe work? Is the heater hose 5/8"? This is replacing the Eddy SP2P manifold on my '84 5th Avenue, 318. Thanks.

perfectly, it just wont have the slight raised edge on the OD on the end like the OE piece. Haven't had one leak yet and 1or 2 worm clamps or 1 worm clamp/1 corbin clamp (corbin clamps keep constant tension better but over less area) would virtually guarantee no leaks. After you cut it bevel the edge

Cool, will do then. Would rather spend 2.99 at Ace than 80 plus bucks at the dealer!
