bigblocka OP member B Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 29 new brunswick , canada	i am in the process of building a tube chassis 68 cuda with big block & 440-1 heads with strange struts.my question is who makes the best header weld up kit?.the primary tubes will be 2 1/8 to 4" collector.

52savoy master 5 Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 4,233 State of retirement	I buy jeg's chevy weld-up kit. It doesn't come with flanges so all you have to do is supply your own. Flanges are available all over the internet starting at about $25 a pair.

You try to make them perfect... but no I dont worry about weld getting inside(if thats what your asking) because I tig all my headers and its easy to control the penetration

tubtar master Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 3,082 St. Paul , Mn.	Check Stahl for an un-welded set of headers. They have them for different bodys and tube cars too as I recall. They also have semi finished..........though I am not sure what that means. But they were pretty reasonable I thought.......I bought their A body kit without flanges for my W-9 project.
