Thats a super cam in a mild motor. Makes a ton of power. Big blocks don't need more then 230 duration. Local racer here runs 9.5 at 140 in a 3000 pound car with a 243 duration cam. Motor makes 650 horse on the dyno. Of course the indy heads help. lol

Use a dual plane intake and check to see if thats an 800 eddy carb. That cam will want more then 650 CFM.

My brother ran the next cam bigger:

Hydraulic. Hot Street cam, likes 2800 converter, Hi-Rise type dual plane intake with 850cfm carb, headers, 10:1 compression and 3.73 gears. Likes up to 200HP nitrous.

Part Number: 60304

In a mild 440 and it ran really strong! He went to a roller cam and a 500 stroker so I bought it for my 383. These VooDoo cams seem to make good power.

1968 Roadrunner 383 auto .060 KB 400 domed pistons, Stealth heads, Torker intake, Holley 830, Lunati Voodoo cam 276/284, .513/.533, TCI 3500, 3.91 gears, all ARP fasteners,

The car will make more power with that cam with an 800 or 850 CFM carb. If you stick with Edelbrock get the thunder series carb.

I'll say it's not ideal for you then. Not near enough carb, not sure about your intake but a nice dual plane would work. You should have headers, your stall is borderline, a 3000 would work best and 3.91's.

Converter is fine. All lunarti calls for with that cam is 2400. I have the next cam up and run a 2800 and it's a rocket. But you should get a dual plane intake. Factory HP manifolds will be fine.

I run the 513 intake 533 exhaust cam in my 470 stroker. It is a PERFECT fit for a street car. I run an 830 Quik Fuel on a Eddy RPM intake on Eddy RPM heads. 2800 converter, 3.91s, 10.4:1 compression. VERY HAPPY with it!!

Best time so far is 11.89 at 113ish mph.

I run the one smaller in a stock 915 head 383 4- speed, 3.23, stock carb intake and exh with 4-hole spacer, few little tricks, Runs super strong !!! tons of low to mid falls off over 5,400rpm but i think thats due to the stock AVS.

I run the same cam 60303. It's a good cam however I would highly suggest running headers instead of stock log exhaust manifolds, unless you have hp manifolds. Driveability is perfect, drives around town just like the stock cam did. If I had to do it over again I would go with a higher CR in the 10-11:1 range and step up to the 60305.

I run the 60304 cam. 513/533. I run a 28 to 3200 stall. Stock HP manifolds with stock 2 1/2 exhaust. Edelbrock performer intake and an 800 thunder series AVS carb. Mopar chrome box. Car runs super. Ton of low end power. I set it in 4 degree's advanced. Cam has excellent street maners.
