My car is a '72 Charger-small block, TTI headers with X pipe.
Will a US Car Tool driveshaft loop clear the exhaust in this application?
Neither the exhaust or loop is on yet, I'd rather find out if it's going to fit or not before I put it together.

Allen Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first. Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.

Mine doesn't fit either. I have a TTi 3in X-Pipe, auto transmission. Not a smallblock tho.

Has anyone had a d-shaft break-loose with this brand and type loop ? ... With the mounting point way WAY to the front, I would be worried about it keeping the d-shaft contained.

I guess I'll try the loop after I get the exhaust on.
Sounds like it depends on the car whether it'll fit or not.
I could probably guess better after I get the headers on.

I had no luck putting one on my wife's '70 Barracuda. It's running a 440 with Hooker Comp headers & a 3" TTI X-pipe system. As stated in a previous post, the exhaust on her car fits much tighter than the one in the photo above. So tight in fact, that you cannot even see the exhaust in a side-profile shot.
