Went in 07 and am going to ride shotgun with a buddy in a Chevelle this year  We were going to go last year but he broke his shoulder when he fell off a ladder a week before DW. My friend since high school that won SB.NA in his Cuda last year is.He also won SB/NA in 08 and won the"Spirit of DW" This year hes hopefully bringing something"special"  otherwise he'll just take the Cuda again. In 06 we brought race gas with us...get to the track, drain the swill, put in the good stuff, bump the timing.
Once you know the tracks, a gameplan can be put into place..and have as many moparts members local to that area on your cell as possible!!

It seems like by reading the rules you can run slicks at the track and change tires to drive it? Is that true? I run a big tire on the street and I could switch to 33x10.5 to run at the track to fit in the Mod class. Am I wrong?

Yes you can run your slicks then swap them
