I just finished measuring the heads. Needless to say, I'm a little disappointed. Here's the actual CC's:

80.6 79.2
81.9 79.6
82.3 79.6
82.2 80

A far cry from the advertised 84cc. There is also a small hole in one of the chambers size of the point of a small pic. Will this cause a big problem for me? It's circled in Red.

I would not be complaining if my heads came in with slightly less CC than advertised, usually it's the other way around. The one head looks good, less than 1cc difference between the chambers but the other one looks like it needs to be squared and milled at a bit of an angle to bring them all together if you're concerned over that couple cc's of diff.

What do you think about that little pin hole in the chamber? Will this cause a problem?

Does it go through to anywhere or is it just a pine hole divot ??

It's a divot. The hole doesn't go through.

I wouldn't worry about that hole then. Chances are it'll get filled up with carbon not long after you start running the motor.

I would be happy if the chambers were a CC or two small. I would not worry about the divot, seen that on many cast products and rarely causes a problem and that looks like one that is insignificant.

My Edelbrock RPM heads were the same way.

The advertised number is roughly the largest cc you're likely to ever see. Most will be slightly smaller.

Situation normal.

Just a quick question. What would you guys recommend I run for a rocker assembly and pushrods?

Thanks!

That depends on cam selection + budget

I'll be running a Big Block Xtreme Energy Hyd.
RPM RANGE 1300-5600

ADV. DURATION 262/270

DURATION @ .050 218/224

VALVE LIFT .462/.470

LOBE CENTER 110

I also wanted to stay with a 1.5 ratio.

The MP HD stamped rockers are fine on an application like that, but they're on backorder right now and might be hard to find.

iron adjustable rockers would be a nice upgrade, but are a little harder to find now that Crane stopped making them. They seem to be fairly plentiful out there used, though.

For something fancier with a roller tip, Comp 1321 would work great also.... I have them on my rpm heads and really like them....but they're definitely overkill for a .470 lift application. Comp runs out of these on a regular basis, last time they ran out it was something like a 4 month wait.

What would you recommend for pushrods?

I just installed the cam at 4 degrees advanced. Using the degree wheel, it's actually running 8 degrees advanced. Does anyone know if this is okay run, or should I get another timing chain or offset to run the intended 4 degrees?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Just back it up 4 degrees. It sounds like you installed it 8 degrees advanced.

If the cam manufacturer recommends an ICL, it is usally already ground into the cam.

The only choice is +/- 4* on the cam, which gives 8 on the crank. Don't most timing chains have +/- 2* on the cam to give 4* on the crank?
