As time allows, I will post some photos of the 72 Missile Cuda. This first picture shows what happens when you decide to store your old car in the back yard and restore it later.

I was wondering if anyone had saved the 72 Motown Missile Cuda yet. I came across an older post on another forum from a few years ago on this old pro-stocker, anyways here's a quote & photo of it:

Quote:

The 1972 Motown Missile 'Cuda last seen wasting away outside somewhere in Canada. "As of 2004, the Plymouth Barracuda was sitting under a tarp in Ottawa, where it had been for at least ten years. Dick Oldfield visited in 2003 and, after shoveling around three feet of snow off the car, was able to verify that it is indeed the ’Cuda. It was in pretty bad shape."

Just melting into the ground. That is the problem with putting off a restoration - some better photos of it back in the day

Stewart nice pic's of the 72 Motown Missile Cuda from the old days,
and do you have anymore of it returning to the elements.

Wow: It's hard to believe someone could let an Icon like that rust away. I'm sure he will cash in at some point and it will go to a collector. Sad right now though.

I have an old mag. that overlooked and documented the build of that car. ALOT of VERY cool parts and a car way ahead of its time

That's a crime right there..

What a horrible feeling it must have been after getting excited about the possibility of finding your old car and discovering that.

Stewart , Love all your pic's please keep them coming !!!

Notice the difference in the early & later style hood scoops used on the Motown Missile Barracuda.
