Hey Guys,i'm looking for a set of Cordoba front brake pads. I want pads that are better than stock. That's all the local parts houses seem to have. I swapped the Cordoba front brakes onto my 70 barracuda. Still trying to figure out which master cylinder to use for manual disk. I can get a 1" bore A-body manual mc from a 70 dart from my local parts house. Would that work OK? Thanks...Greg

when I went disc on my 68 Dart I used the MP 4 bolt to 2 bolt adaptor

installed an alum 2 bolt MC from a 5th ave

I swaped a 74 dart prop valve on to the 68 Dart

used an adjustable brake rod

work very good and no problems

I suggest droping the 4 bolt MC for the newer style alum 2 bolt

HPS offers several different types of brake pads. Stock to very very grippy. I went somewhere in the middle and am happy.

Be careful the 5th ave MC is a 1 1/8"+/- bore which is a little big for a non-power set-up. You will lose pedal feel. I suggest keeping it around or just under an inch. Summit has a 7/8" MC for an early 90's Lebaron, Imperial, etc. I suggest that one.

Who is HPS and how do i contact them? Thanks for the info. I pulled the piston out of my original manual mc and the diameter is 1". Advance has a 1" 70 dart manual drum mc that i believe will work.

Regarding the brake pad portion of your question. Which calipers are you using? Pin or slide type? Pin type have less of a pad selection IIRC.

EBC & Hawk both make better pads; the EBC "Green Stuff" are pretty popular among the road-course guys.

Firm Feel can also get you the master cylinder adapter as well as a late model two bolt master. Or check the for sale pages on here and get a complete conversion kit from Eberg.
