Fun part?, so far I've had fun with the whole project. I picked it up from Georges Collision, where it was media blasted, and took it over to my buddies body shop, where I will finish doing all of the metal work and then it will be prepped and painted by the pros there. I'm not doing any of the filler or paint work, just the metal work. Here it is after media blasting, I'd highly recommend Georges for that, if your in the Detroit area. He is on 9 mile in Eastpoint. I had to drive by Roseville Chrysler, on Gratiot, home of Roseville Moparts and David Radcliff who helped me out with some great deals on the parts I needed for this project.

So how many hours do you think you have in so far? I know you had a bit of a backlog of pictures in the beginning but the thread only a few months old, you move pretty fast. If it was short by one more piece of metal I don't think it would have technically even been a car.
I can't afford this.

Thanks Marpar!! I have no idea how many hours I have in to it. I purposefully did not keep track because this is my first resto and I am doing it for myself. Part of me wishes I had been keeping track, but that didn't kick in till recently, so I don't even think I could guess. I started on it 3 and a half years ago, stripping paint off with chemicles, and there have been several periods of time where I didn't touch it for months on end. I have been spending a lot of time on it lately, I am very motivated to get this one finished.

I am kind of bummed that I can't just walk out into my shop and work on it out there, but it's only a 25 minute drive to Royal Oak, so I'll get over it.

Wish the pics were a little brighter, but it is still good to see some primer on it.
