Using gaskets with the motor plate will eventually work loose and cause a water leak. I have great success with just RTV. I am using studs, and that holds up the engine even if I have to take off the water pump or timing cover.
same here studs are a must IMO. make sure all surfaces are clean and flat {180 wet dry on a piece of glass to level surfaces} before assembly.

I think I'll go with they YAMABOND theory for now.. You guys confused the HECK out of me.... aT LEAST i HAVE ANOTHER DIRECTION IF IT does leak!!! Thanks Guys.....
I hope you have a 1 piece motor plate Nothing wrong with either set up but most gaskets don't stand up well to torsional stress.
Best of luck!

For those of you looking for the Superperformance gaskets, I stock them here. I have PM'd a few of you. I even stock the ever popular Twin Turbo Yugo Defibulator gaskets in the MP-15. You oughta see them. Let me know if I can help, either PM or compwedgeracing@aol.com.Thanks Todd
