Anyone got pix?? I'm looking at mating a 471 to my 291 Desoto, and I'm really diggin' the looks of the early v-belt blower drives. Of course, I would love to see some pix of 471s mounted on Desotos, but any vintage blower setups would be cool to see. Just a couple blown Desotos to whet your appetite.

I'm going to make my own. either log style, or I will mill the stock manifold, and see what I come up with. The blower set up I showed in my post was from a website where a guy was looking to recast blower manifolds for Desotos, but he didn't list what engine or what blower. I'm thinking that lung looks a little bigger than my little 471, though.

It does look pretty good sized, it is definately bigger than a couple of 2-53s I have on John Deere crawlers. Bryce

I just bought a old 6v71 blower setup for a 440 project Charger. It was rebuilt then never run. After talking to Bill at Dyers, this is not near big enough for my application. He said it was designed for small block applications and output is very close to a 4-71. He said they made intakes for it but that was all 25 years or more ago. If you are interested, let me know. I am new here also.
