A friend of mine has a 07 Charger with a 3.5 V6 with 51000 miles. He changes his oil every 3000 miles,before he changes it the level is barly on the stick. He says he sees no leeks. And the car doesnt smoke. Anybody got any ideas what is happening.

As per Chrysler, 1 quart in 850 miles is normal oil consumption!

Not what you are going to want to here but that is going to be considered normal. The 3.5 is fairly common to use oil,very much so in the pacifica's

my 02 intrepid burns about 1.5 quarts of mobil 1 every 5k. At least it didn't blow up like a 2.7.
