My 69 Charger has N88 on the fender tag. The only problem is, I cant find ANY evidence that this car ever had it installed. It has a 1 piece speedo cable, no switches inside, but has 3 strange holes on the inner fenderwell above the shock on the drivers side, behind the fender tag. Does anyone have a pic of what it would look like installed on a car? Id love to piece it back together over time, but need to know more about it.

As the pic illustrates the servo unit mounts there. I had a 70RR with cruise control. Many folks in the day removed this system, perhaps what happened to your Charger.

Servos from C bodies will work, except I believe the mounting bracket may be different.?. Also need control lines. The hardest thing to find will be correct t/s cruise control stick on the steering column. I used to have a big supply of these but sold them all off.

Wow, this is interesting. It appears I have some serious parts hunting ahead of me!

I bought a loaded (but rusty) 1969 Charger SE a few years ago, that had this option.
I sold the column and all the cruise parts for $600.

D'oh!!

My '68 had "auto speed control".
It was physically all there, but I never had it working.

I see on this thread a picture of a correct
looking '69 Charger R/T engine with a dual
snorkel air cleaner. Was there a rule on
'68 & '69 440 R/T's which ones got the
dual snorkel and which got the unsilenced?
I have seen them both ways.

I'll forwan you. 1969 and prior cruise control parts are extremely difficult to locate.
the hardest part is going to be the brake switch. 1969 and older uses a vacuum interupt brake switch where as 1970 and later uses an electrical interupt switch.
The only pieces to interchange are the column switch, the servo bracket and the cables, the lost motion link might be the same, but I've never verified it .

The servo, both related electrical and vacuum harness's and brake switch and it's related mounting bracket are non-interchangable

That has got to be a pic from a 69 Charger R/T I had 20 years ago! How many Q5 Charger RT's would have had cruise. The A/C, discs, and dual snorkle air cleaner are also dead give-aways. It had that style AC because it was a Calif sold N95 noise reduction pkg car. I would definately like to know where you got that pic exactly.

It's got to be the most loaded 69 Charger RT

Damn good question where I got that pic because I just checked my registry files & cant match that pic with the other pics of Q5 cars I have.
Your right that car is loaded but I know of some that top that one!

I only have 2 Q5/W1 cars registered....only 1 with a white top & stripe. No luggage rack or power windows though.

More engine shots here (another with cruise as well)
