Trying to mount the fan on a 67 Hemi engine. I have a spacer #1730155 that measures 1.060 thick. The 67 Chrysler parts book shows a part number 1851959. I don't know how thick this one is? I have a amk products #66-E74 engine bolt kit that says it is for the 66-67 engines. The fan bolt in it says it is to be used with a 1.24 inch spacer.
If I look at some web sites that shows the bolts for use with the 1851959 spacer, they say it is 1.060 thick? I'm

What is the correct spacer number and thickness I should be using, and are the correct bolts offered for this.

Thanks
Dan

According to the 67 Parts Book, the 1851959 spacer is for B & C-Body 383, 440 & 426 without A/C. It was also used on the 67 A-Bodies with /6 and no A/C.

If your car is an auto and utilizes the 4 blade "34" fan then i'm pretty sure you need a 18259 32 spacer that is 1.24" thick.

If you find that's what you need I think I have a few good spares and I'll send you one.

The car is a 4 speed. The spacer and fan I have came off of a 66 Hemi automatic. I thought they would have been the same??? maybe not. I don't have a 66 parts book. Could someone that has a book look them up?

Thanks
Dan

If you have a buildsheet it will tell you the last 2 #'s of the part # of the spacer you need. Look at the casting # under the spacer and find a match.

I used to have a 67 Hemi R/T that had a build date of Nov 16. I checked the copy I have of the buildsheet on that and it has a #32 fan spacer code. Fan code is #34 BTW (4 blade). Now just find a spacer with a part #xxxxx32 cast in the bottom.

I've got a '67 Hemi GTX with a January 15 build date. Same thing, '34' fan and '32' spacer.

Ok, I looked on my broadcast sheet, and sure enough it has the #32 on it. So the 1825932 spacer is what I need. Was lucky enough to have one here .

Thanks!
Dan
