Hi All, has anyone run a Procharger on a Hemi? What size would be 'about right' for a mild boost (<10lbs) 572 Hemi application (street car)?? Expect to have 9:1 comp & mild boost & EFI. Looking for stand out power in a B Body 68 Charger street car. Darren

You need to check out the Holy Hemi.. SMRE was a site sponsor... They have the bad custom bracket that mounts the Pro Charger in a reverse pattern.. How about 2000+hp froma Pump gas, cast intake Hemi!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hSZjdlKz6c

I just finished this pump gas motor. Made >1000 HP at 12 pounds. Everyone knows me as the EFI guy, so I would have preferred using EFI, but this customer wanted a blow-through carb (I used CSU for the carb). I had some jetting issues that would have never come up with EFI.
9:1 CR, hydraulic cam, MSD BTM ignition, very nice idle. A perfect street motor. I decided to go 472" to better match the flow volume of the F1.
Bob at The Supercharger Store can walk you through everything.
What's a motor like that cost when all said and done?

My guess is the 472 could cost anything depending on choice of parts & what you started with. $40k? Thanks to everyone, and Rich in particular, it looks like the Hemi/F2 combination with EFI will produce about 1,500hp (intercooled). Getting started on the engine build now. Darren

Your not going to get 1500hp with 10lbs of boost You can make 10 lbs with a d1 maxed out. I would talk with Steve Morris at New Era to get the correct low down on what to do. Procharger tech sent me to him to get my correct cog sizes because they weren't sure on hemi stuff.

That one was about $28K with all new parts and dyno time.

A 540" Hemi with 15 lbs of boost, on 100 octane, and no intercooler, will make about 1250-1300. Add a good intercooler and you come pretty close to 1500. I use Bob at The Supercharger Store for all my Mopar Procharger stuff. They have all the bracketry and they know the pulley sizes to get very close on the first try.

Has anyone ever tried a water injection on blown-EFI?? I've only seen it with blow-through
I've done it, Bob at The Supercharger Store suggested I try this (water and Meth) and it was easy pleasy... No negatives from what I could see except having more containers to fill. The EFI didn't care.

How did you make out?
My Cuda has a KB588, FAST EFI and F1R. About 1050 hp @ 8psi and using water/meth injection.
