I am looking to see what aftermarket or non-factory application road lamps have been used on ebodies? I'm looking for a similar look, but not the price tag. Preferably something with a removable bulb since I would be retrofitting HIDs into them.

Also, what diameter are they?

Thanks!

67? Mustang fog lamps are nearly identical except for the "tri bar" in the center. Rest of the chrome bezel casting is nearly the same. They take the same bulb.

I know someone that bought a set of mustang fog lamps and cut the tri bar out and re-assemblied them. Would really need to stare at them from 5 feet away to tell if someone clued you in. He had some homemade fog lamp brackets too.

I put these Hella Optilux 1100 on for the time being
http://www.amazon.com/Hella-H71010291-Optilux-1100-Clear/dp/B0002MA3NU
and put in some high discharge led H3 bulbs

everything cost 40 bucks

RylisPro, I don't mean to highjack the thread but what are your plans for turn signal lights on that Cuda in the picture you posted or is that a race-only car?

I thought there was something mustang related that people used, but wasn't sure. Thanks, I'll look into those.

I used ones from a mustang catalog and they have the bezels without the tri bar. Real hard to tell any differnce between mine and the repop ones for mopar. cost was around 125 for the pair

The local mustang supplier here even sells the chrome bezels without the center divider making the whole deal real easy and cheap...Only difference on the housings are obvoiusly the part number and a set of rivets{around the housing} holding the inner support ring in place....Here's just one supplier's page...There's a bunch out there !!! link
