Anyone know what i can use behind the 5.7 hemi. Gonna put it in a 55 Panel. Is the bell housing bolt pattern the same as any previous Motors?

That thing is so high off the ground, if you don't mind messing with the floors a little or setting the motor a little lower, you should consider using the overdrive tranny that came with the 5.7


Allen Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first. Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.

Agreed. I like the 5 speed German-junk in the Charger. Nice throttle control. Easy to drive.

from the looks of it you have a long way to go before you need a trans...I get the body and suspention done (to the right ride height) and then think about what trans you need/want. I'm sure you will have some options.
