DART67GT OP super stock Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 1,010 Sandy, OR	I tried installing my MP valve covers tonight. I can barely get the bolts started as the covers+gaskets are too thick. I'm using the felpro rubber gaskets and ARP bolts. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and are there thinner gaskets that would help? 1967 Dodge Dart GT 3.23 sure grip 8.75/727/360 .020 over w/edelbrock heads 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab CTD

wingman Uncreative Title Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 3,380 St. Charles, MO	Do you have the bolts for cast aluminum covers? They tend to be longer than bolts designed for stamped covers. topside Too Many Posts Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 20,796 A collage of whims	Ditto on needing longer bolts or studs. IIRC, thread size is 1/4-20. Depending on your intake, sometimes there's also interference at the runners.
