Duster499 OP member D Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 166 SE MI	What issues might I encounter swapping a 400 motor into a 360 Cordoba? Is the K member the same for both. Do I just need to change motor mounts? How about the tranny? Has anybody done such a foolish thing?

LS-300 enthusiast Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 304 Ohio	I know that the Doba came with a 400 up untill 78. I think the block is considered a big block so the tranny will need to be one as well. As for the K-member I'm not sure but there are mounts out there to use a BB where a SB was without changing the member. You will also need a drive shaft as the trany lengths are different. 1979 Chrysler 300 1968 Barracuda project

The isolated k frame used a different piece between small and big blocks..The easiest/cheapest swap would be to find an original BB car and snag the parts you'd need...Check out this thread I just posted on..Same deal for you but you'll need the factory manifolds also... link
