What issues might I encounter swapping a 400 motor into a 360 Cordoba? Is the K member the same for both. Do I just need to change motor mounts? How about the tranny? Has anybody done such a foolish thing?

I know that the Doba came with a 400 up untill 78. I think the block is considered a big block so the tranny will need to be one as well. As for the K-member I'm not sure but there are mounts out there to use a BB where a SB was without changing the member. You will also need a drive shaft as the trany lengths are different.

What he said... The isolated k frame used a different piece between small and big blocks..The easiest/cheapest swap would be to find an original BB car and snag the parts you'd need...Check out this thread I just posted on..Same deal for you but you'll need the factory manifolds also... link

In addition to the big block K frame and brackets you must use the matching oil pan and pick up. The common 402 style pans will not fit...

And all the other stuff like radiator, wiring, exhaust,etc....really requires a donor vehicle..
