Hello,

Does anyone know the pars I need to install a 10.95 (scalloped) clutch on a 130 tooth flywheel (10.5 orig clutch) w/ 23 spline input.

I googled it with no details given...

For centerforce is this the clutch I want:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CTF-DF070800/

what bolts? - I know they are special

The first thing you will need to do is verify that the 10.95 (11") will bolt up to your flywheel. I'm pretty sure they (10.5 & 10.95 or 11), have different bolt patterns. As far as the attachment bolts, stock bolts will work, but must be at least a grade 8. Summit has them listed. 3/8-24X1 I believe. The part number you have for CenterForce is correct.

So while they are 130 tooth, they are two different flywheel bolt patterns? I assume most of the aftermarket (hayes, mclead, centerofrce, etc...) will have both patterns or would that be too much to ask? Anyone know for sure?

My centerforce only has one bolt pattern. I'd have to check if it has a part # on it.

What engine are you putting that clutch behind? I had one behind my 440 and it ate it this past summer. I am running a mcleod now and like it better.

10.5 and 10.95 clutches use the same bolt pattern but the 10.95 uses bolts with small heads for extra disc to bolt clearance. Kind of like a bb 7/16" header bolt but with a larger shoulder to properly locate the pressure plate

Make sure that you check the O.D. on the clutch plate and make sure that it is 10.95". I have seen a few 10.95" clutch plates that were actually 11" plates. You wouldn't think that .050" was a big deal, but if you only have .045" of clearance, it is a big deal.

10.5" Flywheel and scalloped 10.95" pressure plate.

Dual pattern flywheel. I can't remember the brand.

Cool thanks...

Anyone have part numbers for the bolts? - Summit does not have enough of a description to tell the difference.

It is going behind a 408 360 balanced factory flywheel.

I bought mine from Bob Mazzolini Racing.
They might also be used for headers.

1/2" Hex head.

Snoopy, That bolt shoulder does not look long enough. The shoulder should actually go into the flywheel itself and "locate" it. The threads in the flywheel do not start right away to provide for this. Otherwise you are putting all that engine torque on the threads of the 6 flywheel bolts.

I have 3/8" of thread engagement and the shoulder extends a little over an 1/8" into the flywheel. The end of the bolt is .220" from the front of the flywheel.

The bolt could be 3/16" longer, but I don't think the shoulder would be any longer. The counter bore in the flywheel is 1/4" deep and the the pressure plate is 1/8" thick. The shoulder on the bolt is 1/4".
