With screws like that digging into the ice, I don't think it would take long to take 4 - 5 inches off the starting line. I'd be afraid I'd break through. Or is that not an issue. First I should have asked how thick the ice is. So how thick is it?

So we layed down a bunch of cardboard and did them on the table. It's a bachelor pad so no one around to yell Haven't run the car in the summer with this engine yet.
