I've been posting this on the HAMB, since I've been on there seeing how others have done it. I sectioned my car 2", and will be chopping the top next. The doors I peeled back the skin, sectioned the center, replaced the skin, and cut the remainder off the bottom. Fender looks good, will have some hammer and dolly work, only took 2" out because I still wanted some steel between the top of the wheel arch and top of the fender. Lots of spot welds! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=430749

hard to tell from the pic,, did you move the entire roof forward or just the rear glass section ?

Wonder what it would look like it you molded in the front edge of the rear fenders? I think your talent could pull it off.

I plan on welding on the rear fenders and blending them in. Heres a photoshop pic of the car, not sure about the color, I don't know what color I want yet, and that was his first choice. Its a good color for a custom, I can picture it with white tuck and roll inside, but I can't picture driving it daily if it looked like that. I would be too worried about it to drive.

Sweet looking. I had a car I was worried to drive. I sold it. Sometimes I miss it. Anyway, will be nice what ever you do.
