How about dig up the old good tech posts then send me the URL to it.

I will then move it into the Best Of so it never gets deleted

Question: why is it some people don't seem to like old posts getting bumped?

It seems to me that if the new question/comment is germain to the original intent of the thread, that it'd be a better way to go - keeping all the info in one thread (more easily searched).

Or, am I missing something (as so often happens...)

Oh, and of course, get into the country of origin debate, bash on Indy's customer service and 440 Source in general, and be sure to throw personal insults at anybody who disagrees!

Seduce the attractive, and charm the rest. ****** 489 C.I.D., roller cam, aftermarket heads, tunnel ram, stock '54 Dodge rear axle assembly: which of these doesn't belong?

Maybe get one of the engine builders to sit down at
the key board and give us the 1,2,3 and so on, of
"HOW TO BUILD A ENGINE", what they/he does as a step
by step... what they look for. Doesnt have to be REALLY
in depth but just the good highlights(unless they want to
REALLY get into it)......... just a thought

Maybe a comparison of Mopar against the other brands of engines Pros/cons comparing LA to SBC, and RB to BBC, including strokers etc. to make a benchmark study?

I can give a run down on what not to do to a transmission.

It all starts with a really good topic...i do admit sometimes I get bored and try to but it's just 'cause I want to get some guys thinking and chiming in, that's what keeps it fun and keeps the 'old grey' lump inside our heads from getting (too) stale.

The brainpower we have on this site is awesome and USUALLY ego's stay out of the really heavy tech stuff...and alot of times the REALLY HEAVY STUFF goes on "after class" on the phone or in PM's back-n-forth....but it's all in good fun and it can STAY FUN so long as we keep mutual respect for eachothers opinion.

My intent is NOT to stir anything. I'm sure, I'm not the only one
who's noticed the tech stuff around here is pretty stale.

I don't like "bashing" threads but, admit I've had a few choice
words to add to some of them over the years.

I was a "lurker" on here long before I signed on. I remember when
Dwyane Porter, Curtis Boggs, Jesse Lackman and even Jeff @ Modern
would have neat tech stuff. I know there were others, I've forgotten.
Hell, I remember when Brad Hawk had a flow bench and still went by
Brad Hawk.

Besides, what's wrong with bumping an old post??

Ok how about this.... Best 59* post engine data vs Brett's 09 EMC engine, almost the same out put from way different builds,Its kinda like old school vs new school if someone is good with moving posts to one page we could compare the builds and dyno sheets and discuss the builds or argue we do have all winter
