FYI, One thing that is kind of cool, is if you can find one of the rear plates that have a lighter socket built into it, and open spaces between the grooves that houses an interior light to help light up the rear footwell area. They look identical to the original "plain" back plate, but give you a classier upgrade. If nothing else, the lighter socket can be used for a 12 volt power supply. I don't know the specific application they came on, but I'm guessing the high end New Yorkers or other luxury cars. I got a very nice one pretty cheap off Ebay.
Yes those are found in C bodies

C bodie consoles "usually" have the 2 seatbelt recievers located together on top at the rear, just after the console door for the front belts to attach to

I haven't seen enough of them to know what you are talking about I guess. The piece I was talking about is the very rear end cap. I had to wait until I got home, and unbox it from storage to look at the one(s) (I have 2 of them) that I have and they are identical to the plain-jane b-body caps. I bought a high dollar fiberglass mint original console with all the pieces, then saw a couple of the caps on ebay, and bought them. Side by side they look dimensionally identical to the b-body ones, a direct bolt in replacement. I have since decided that I'm going to build a custom aluminum console incorporating some of the factory pieces, but with a more modern upgraded flair. I'm "lightly" customizing my interior to get the look I want, yet retain a factory style vibe to it. I bought the fiberglass console because they are much heavier duty, and not prone to cracking like the plastic ones. You would certianly know more about anything Mopar than me, though! Your work is phenomenal, and I always wonder how in the world you can get such a period correct looking part on your cars, when nothing was ever even remotely offered like that from the factory! You and your crew are all true artists. On top of just doing this for kicks, as I've read you all have full time jobs.

FWIW The two piece consoles are fiberglass, the one piece units are plastic... I'm pretty much convinced the two piece was 66 & maybe some 67's.. Did the 67 Charger have the full length console too or was that 66 only? And I guess I shouldn't have parted with the bracket pictured above as all the consoles apparently should have it... I ordered one from Mike.. Now I need to decide if I'm gonna use my perfect plastic console body that has the two seat belt clips which Dayclona mentioned as belonging on C bodies... I suspect he's correct but still it's a perfect console & I think I'm gonna use it rather than buy a repo...
Yes Dayclona is correct on it being a C body with the clip. 67 Chrger didn't have the full length console, that was 66 only.
