Probably not going to happen with a stock block A/LA. You would have to make at least 600 horsepower to get all that weight moving.

Sure you can do that. Can do it with cast iron heads and a ThermoQuad if you had to. Just depends if you're willing to work that hard or not.
Yep, some determination and 510 HP.

That is something you never see B body with a small block and then running 10s that would be awesome
I'll bet RyanJ's twin turbo w8 superbee will rip off a lot faster times than high 10s.

Why so heavy? What kind of B boby are we talking about?
not really my 67 coronet was 3850 w/ me and 1/2 tank of gas as raced. a 68-70 B-body is going to be just as heavy I'd think.

The coronet and my plump self with 1/2 tanks of gas weigh in at a healthy 3940 lbs! Mike\ PS truth be told I could probably stand to do some wieght reduction.

yeah I am around 185 and I think this 70+me+1/2 tank is going to be close to that if not more. thses 70's are at least 6" longer than 68-69's. and they have that BIG wrap around bumper.
