My buddy David us working on the frontend on that superbird and needs the torque speck for it.
Does anybody have the torque specks for the entire frontend, including the k-member bolts? Maybe a site link that has the info on it?

I'm pretty sure they're listed in the 1970 Service Manual. They should be the same as a run of the mill 1970 Belvedere/Satellite/Road Runner.

Thanks for the list, looks like it covers most of the frontend.

First Thanks for posting that

So if i read this right fo a 70 runner/s-bird

the K-member torque down to 150FP
the lower c-arm nut torque to 145FP
upper ball joint 100FP
lower ball joint 85FP

the only speck i needs is the two nut and bolts that hold the lower ball joint to the spindel

ok some fun info about the bird from the wing warriors,,,

are car is the 1,053 built and the 500th car to get built with a 6-pac... and we know where the bird that was built before ours,,,

kool !!!!

thanks

Hi all

Ok now we got a motor and trans ready to go in BUT!!!

I need to understand something

We have a 11" housing and a 10 1/2 fly wheel and cluch setup ..

SO I need to know

1. Will i need this starter shim for sure ?
2. Can I use the 11" housing with the 10 1/2 set up ..

3. how is the 10 1/2 flywheel differ from a 11"
I know the ring gear 130 v 143.. is the OD the same ?

4. what is the tork on the flywheel bolts ?

you can see the car itself at the Mopar Alley's Mopar Ralley show this year on June 6th

Thanks
David
