It is required with all 70 b-body 4spd.Some may choose not to use the lockout,most will.Either way if it is included you will have it whether you do or do not use it.

This linkage is also used for 66-9 B body when using the PG shifter/box which would not require that swivel. If someone will be using the lockout linkage I change the swivel.
