here is when I get some questions. For same cam I got divided opinions to a 400, taking in mind I will raise compression with pistons, but then it looks good mounted on a SB, with less displacement and stroke, and no more engine build specs posted
I simply don't get it.

I ran that cam in a couple of 340's back in the day. 340 4spd 'cuda, pulled the revs to 6500 and 12's through the lights. Lot's of chop at idle. Loved that hemigrind.
Ran one in a 340 in a 4x4 W150 in the mid '80s, all the usual mods (LD340 Headers, 440AVS, good X heads etc) , was faster than the basically stock 440 (HP manifolds, TRW's, Torker, 750 Holley, factory HP cam) that came after the 340 broke the steel crank. Strong midrange torque in the truck, choppy idle, low vacuum. It was a mean cam.

great little cam...pulls hard and sounds really good with the right mufflers.i've ran it in multiple mild 340 builds and it has never disapointed me...i've sold quite a few of them over the years..MP P4452992 $180

I ordered new Smith Bros push rods and used adj rockers.
