It really depends on what you expect from it. If you are in a heads up class where you are limited to 1 250 HP plate there may be better choices but if you just want to go fast the N/A cam will certainly do the job. No one that runs heads up programs will give you this information. You need to contact a good cam grinder. They will be happy to sell it to you.

I agree with Monte here extra lobe seperation is your freind when running nitrous.
Some run more exhaust duration to. I think you can be conservative here on some of the heads that have good flowing exhaust characteristics. My CFE W8 heads on the small block nitrous engine I ran could not get enough exhaust lobe duration. The heads were designed purely for NA combinations and only have a 1.55" exhaust valve. I simply had the cam grinder put all the lobe seperation and exhaust duration physically possible in using that core. We just went back and fourth on LSA and Duration trying to find the sweet spot. If I told the specs you would swear it was an IHRA pro stock cam with a huge LSA.

Nitrous cams should have wider LS angles to help prevent the nitrous from being sucked out the exhaust at overlap. The overlap Pulse can/is Very strong in a well set up NA motor.
A nitrous motor doesnt need or want as strong a pulse IMO, A wider LS helps with that.
But for mild nitrous combos NA cams can work just fine as most are around a 108 to 110 LS anyways. miker

You havent stated your combination???? So What is it??  
If its a mild nitrous combo, a regular NA 108/110 LS cam will work fine.
But Comp cams for one, can grind you anything you want. mike

451ci, low deck, Indy SR's, 10.9:1,Victor intake w/ NOS fogger, 1050 dominator on E85, 4:10, 28" tire, 3500lbs.
Looking at changing a few things over the winter (more nitrous) and cam is one of them...solid lifter.
0.648"int/0.640"exh, 263@0.050/272@0.050, 110LSA, in at 105 Int CL

I know some very susseful NOS racers that ran a bunch more than a single 250 HP plate system, they spent thousands of dollars expermenting with all types of different combinations and they ended up using a N/A SS style cam after trying all of the NOS grind cams 
There is a point where the C.I. and the intended RPM range will come into play, especially on the lobe seperation angles
