so whos the guy thats so happy I redlighted? I wonder if he was happy after I got back in? Nice thing about the vid is you can see "quake" deep staged, he told me afterwords he knew he should have been dq'd. I saw kent ritter there helping him, that can do nothing but improve his program.

cool vids brian, I didnt know you were the one that put them on there.

Its not just "them" that have diff rules. Check out an NHRA rulebook. A lot of SS rules are different than bracket cars and SG SC. No -5 pants required in SS. Also no gloves, collar or fireproof shoes. But some other rules apply. Full cage in a SS/IA with an index of 11.00

"so whos the guy thats so happy I redlighted? I wonder if he was happy after I got back in?...."

Charlie, I think he is a Sr. fan. , LOL. He seemed to be even more excited when you and your Dad made it to the finals and he ( ) won. Check out Brian's Video posted a few post earlier.

Charlie, Great, Great show and performance this year. Like I have seen posted here before, looks like each time you and your Dad show up at a track your "prepared". Its only a guess, but I believe your Dad had been that way for the past 60 years at everything he's done. Second guess, the apple doesen't fall to far from the tree. Keep it up, its exciting

no, the next race for us will be the dutch. We plan to test this weekend, but thats not certain yet. I am sure it will be fast there, and all the "B" team cars will be going fast. I am done chasing weather for records at $1.00+ a mile to travel.

the number I am interested in is - $1000.00 in my bank acct. Anyone can go fast in good air, unless the fastest cars are there, they are kidding themselves.
Maybe the dutch will bring some good weather for a change, its about time for it.

I went a 51 in 2500# (my gauge obviously) at columbus. I was 15 faster than the 3rd guy, thats all I care about.

If the track is good enough, I expect Charlie could possibly dip into the high thirties. Thats my guesstimate.
Bucky might could when he gets his new car sorted out.

None of this matters though...its all speculation.

The Warfish is making some serious steam....thats what I do know for a fact. I like Charlie, and I like Bucky. I know Bucky and I've only spoken to Charlie a time or two and he was super nice. I dont kiss butt, I just tell it like it is. The Warfish is the one to catch right now. Joe Clark is making some serious steam too though.
