Hurst shifter is probably the best choice for the pistol grip shifter, all the competition plus body's are the same , just a different mounting plate to the transmission. it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead

If you have a 143 tooth bell/wheel combo then I suggest the 12"Mcleod B&B plate and rag disc from Passon Performance.If you only have a 130 tooth bell/wheel then you are more limited in your choices.I like the Hurst Super Shifter III for a street/strip unit,I have run over 40 passes without missing a gear with that shifter.
