The #2, 3, and 4 mains all look like this. The cylinder walls in 1, 6, and 7 are cracked on one side each, 3 and 5 are cracked on both sides, and #8 is cracked too. It was bound to happen though. the block served me well. At least 750+ passes down the 1/4 between two different cars. Combo was always the same. 440 +.060, Steel crank, Six Pack rods, flat tops, Comp .650 solid, 452 heads, M-1 intake, and a 1050 Dominator. It went 9.73 @ 138 at the beginning of the year in my Plymouth.

Call Chrysler and ask the what kind of crap they are passing off to the public, can't even get 1,000 pass's [ 250 ] miles out of their blocks. Putting the juice to it ?
All throttle, I have never and will never juice anything.
It could have a 1,000 runs on it actually. The motor was in the '64 Dodge when we got in in 1995. God only knows how many runs the prior owner made on the motor.
The new motor will have a girdle, alum. rods, pistons, etc. I'm actually thinking of a Mega Block.
