I'm no expert on the rest of your setup, but I have experience witht the Edlebrock Torker intake. For street driving, it's a cold blooded, gas eatin' DOG! But.... when the revs hit 3000 and the cam comes in... it's GOLD. But then, as a much younger man back in the late 70's when I ran it, my car was a built 360 with a Crower cam and 340 2.02 heads. My 77 Volare Road Runner was my daily driver at the time. I clearly rember that intake was a gas suckin' pig and on cold humid days, wouldn't idle worth spit... but when you romped on it... hold on... So, as long as it's a strip car, you should be OK.
