Of course you can! You may also find you want to tweak the adjustment after the motor's in. Just be aware that you are asking your alignment shop to set ride height (non mopar-savvy shops may not know this!!!) Personally I would ensure the ride height is where I (and only I) want it long before the alignment shop. The amount of "threads" showing on other cars has nothing to do with yours.
Exactly right. I wrote in another thread here a long time ago that the way to filter out alignment appliance operators from a good mechanics is to ask them what the first check on a Mopar alignment is. Any answer besides set ride height is an instant gong and move on. Alignment guys with white hair usually know the drill but may have to be reminded, especially if they have CRS like I do. And like he said, set it yourself and no worries. Craig

I was wondering if the adjustment screws are always suppose to be so difficult to turn. I had all the control arms cleaned and then bead blasted. I remember it was really hard to loosen them too when even the motor was out. I sprayed all kinds of lubricant to help, but it still requires a lot of turning with a breaker bar to adjust them since someone took my 1/2" ratchet. I was just wondering is it suppose to be that tight to turn them up? I don't know if I have a baseline anymore because I was looking at them and everything was blasted clean so there's no wear marks. I'm going to using 14x6 with 225/70/14s all the way around. I have stock HD springs and shocks in the rear, no air shocks. And I'm going for a factory ride height.
unload the suspension (at least a little) with a jack and you will find the T-Bar bolts to be MUCH easier to adjust!

However I still did mine with a pipe on the end of a 1/2" ratchet.

Penetrating oil and frame on jack stands and it will eventually get easier to turn. I backed mine almost all the way out and coated it with 3 in 1 oil. Ran it back in to approximately where it was, lowered the car and the 1/2 in ratchet was all that was needed. Craig

I would highly suggest that you set the height where it looks good for your wheel/tire combo before you get there. Yes different vehicles do end up with the depth of the bolt in the LCA much different from others & thats no problem. Everytime I've let them set it to their specs (if they have them) it's been too low in the front then I cant change it afterwards because that changes the caster/camber. Not sure how much but I want it dead on.
