I run a pair on my 499 low deck. Max wedge size indy 400-3 intake. The heads flow good. I mill the heads to 67cc chamber (13.7 comp). The engine made 840Hp with a Scott Brown roller cam.

You won't get away with the BS rockers and that cam. They are not strong enough for the spring required for that cam. Your probably going to need a new set of headers too unique to that head.

Your friend may not have underchassis(inside the frame rails)headers(?). Not all of the plugs are unaccessable, mostly the #6 and #5...just depends how the headers are designed. Hooker can be made to work with some dinging here and there.
they were finder well headers which is what I run also so I hope problems will be kept to a minimum

I had Jeff at Modern cylinder head cnc port (to M.W. size) the set of B1-BS I had last year. They flowed 280 at .600 before porting with the standard 440 port size and flowed 350 at .700 after porting. I put them on a 470 C.I. 440 block with 12.0 to 1 compression, tunnel ram with two Holley 750 D.P. carbs, Crane cams custom ground solid roller that is 274@.050 and ground on a 106 LSA in at 105. that motor made 722 HP at 7000 RPM with 615 ft. lbs torque at 5400 RPM I have had other heads, and still do, that outflow the ported B1-BS but those heads did and do work very well IMHO As far as a single four barrel intake to use I would and do, use the Indy 440-2 intake (or the 400-2 for a low deck motor))with a tapered adapter for the Dominator carbs and add a one inch cloverleaf phenolic spacer under the Dominator carb.
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
