My valve springs only have seat pressure of 111 lbs. Cam card says I should have 145 lbs.Eledbrock RPM heads with a 643 lift cam. What valve springs should I go with ? What is the part #? Big block 440 ( 496)

Stock heads are 1.880 installed height.
Since Edelbrock heads have NO top cut on the valve job........the last set I did, ended up with .060" shims under the 'stamped cup".
A little juggling shims and keepers should get 1.950" pretty easy.

I think Edelbrock says there springs on the RPM heads are only good to .600 lift I like to see 150+ and 325 to 375 lbs. open on both flat tappet cams, hydraulic and solids Try shimming them first, make sure you have at least .060 to coil binnd, check every one of them individually Replace them if needed with a better spring from Comp, Lunati, Isky
