10 o to go OP "Happy Don" Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 1,489 St. Louis Mo.	put in low gear and super sprag in 727 took some preload out and set car little higher Raced at benton IL 8th mile best et their was 6.39 4.13 1.39 average 60ft 9/12/09 (1)1.41 4.07 6.337 best now (2)1.40 4.07 6.336 best (3)1.35 4.01 6.328 lift win (4)1.34 4.00 6.277 bye run (5)1.33 got out of groove abort So the 418 4.30 gear is grunting and moving. Can't wait to get to GIR to get my liscence now. Quote: What are the pros and cons of a low gear set I'm not any expert on it just have used them on my 318 in the 90s ran 12.50s in this car 340s ,360s with 904s then went back to 727s with low gear .Some say not to use with a lite car Whats THAT ,magic weight .I use it with a brake at 4400 leave. 1.39 at GIR this year best see what TUES does .MAYBE more will chime in .
