Hi all, finally getting some motivation to work on the car. I am looking at new fuel lines and assuming if I buy 3/8 feul and vapor line I should also purchase the 3/8 sending unit. This barracuda,s feul lines were pretty rotten and I think they were the factory 5/16 lines but do want to go bigger as there is lots more power in the 340 and maybe one day drop a 440 in it, thanks Tim

Yes, the 3/8 line will fit right on there...Just keep in mind your original set-up has the vent line from the tank to the canister for emmission control...The older style 3/8 tank sending unit will have a return line provision...So if you wanted to run a factory style vapor separator you'd need an aditional 1/4 inch return line for a 70-71 cuda{from the separator to the sending unit} if going the prebent route....If you don't plan on running the fuel/vapor return simply cap the return on the sending unit.....

Good point, I would recomend installing the third vapor return line to the the sending unit. It's the hot tip to prevent vapor lock. IMO

okay thanks, the engine bay, or entire car will not be stock looking anyway. I had the vent line just hanging off the frame where the cannister used to be.
