If you need help in the traction dept., use the softer compound, CO7. They will not last as long as the CO6's nor be quite as fast; at least that has been my experience. You do know that 30 X 9 Hoosiers come in two different circumferences, don't you?

my M/T 30x9 radials lasted 56 runs. I went back to bias slicks and yes they are slower by .08 at least.

SUPERSTOCKER, thanks im leaning towards the 06 compound, im so close to that 9 second pass with my 63 so im looking for all the help i can get.i bet 40 passes total with them is all ill get.its a heavy car.
i even went to a smaller 30 x 10.5 over the 29 x 10.5w for less rolling resistence/
i heard radial slicks might get me a few more mph.

If you have problems with these tires, you either need to add air pressure or check your car...

9 out of 10, you are killing the tires in the burnout.

I bought a set of the 30 x 9 Hoosier radial slicks to use at the track. I have the shorter 29.5 tall tires and they work great for me. I got my best 60 yet on them the last time out. I even drove the 90 miles too and home from the track on them. It took 3 passes to get them too hook real good. I like them as they work fine for me and fit my stock wheelwells real good. Ron

Radials only lasted 30 runs on my car...If you get 50-60 runs you are doing well. Once they start going away they are done...On the bright side they are worth a solid tenth in most cases.

At the first hint of smoke, it's been long enough. I run at least 20lbs and have run as much as 28lbs on a track with teeth. Again, your car must work to fully utilize these tires and track prep has to be good too. I can get at least 200 passes on a set.

I never saw 200 passes - 120 was about it for my Duster. Tire pressure was normally 22 - 23 PSI.

Keep burn out short!!!!

Swap sides after about the first 10 passes, then leave them until they start to go away. The signal I noticed was 60 foot time were inconsistent. At that point, I swapped sides twice to get maybe another 20 runs, then time for new ones.
