Anybody know of any tracks that have installed refrigerant coils in the burn out areas of the track?

Because John doesn't want to get all sweaty doing his burnouts in the Great White Whale.

I think it's farther out than 60'. They got money to spend for that, but can't afford to bring running water to the facility.

Have you ever seen it change the track temp( do they
run the chillers for the normal weekend races)

I haven't run a car there in 10 years. If I got the story straight they use the coils to maintain a certain surface temp. IDK if they chill it during the summer months and heat it during the spring and fall. I wouldn't be surprised if they did it just to lengthen the racing $eason.

Actually big D, I've been trying to convince everybody that my 3rd round loss ( napping at the light ) at the Nats was caused by heat, but nobody's buyin it. They are letting me off the hook on the "your old" thing though.

Hey, you probably made it farther than anyone giving you grief, didn't ya?

I gots other problems. Either I'm too early or I can't drive the big end.

I have made 10 passes this year without anything falling out of the motor though.

Benton does something most tracks could try also
they run sprinklers on the track starting line to keep track temp down .But like most tracks we take temps and 135 is slimy not till you get 115 or cooler does it really start biting .
