Is that what yours came with, there are 2 numbers on top 6 and 5 but they aren't next to each other, does that mean it's a 6.5.

looks like 78/78 with 6.5 PV's front and back
so delete the rear pv and go 78/86 or both pv's and go 86/86 Holley jetting is real close as shipped

I've just pulled it apart and it's got 6.5 power valves back and front, 31 shooters, 82 prim jets and 84 mains, should i jet down to 78's again and work up from there.
Why do you suggest taking the pv's out?.

I used to run a 950HP list 80496-1 and this is how it came:
78/78 jets
6.5/6.5 power valves
31/31 squirters
72/32 air bleeds

But I ran it without a power valve in the rear (plugged) and 78/86 jets. 35/37 squirters.

Yes most people way over jet their carbs. stock jetting is real close and aluminum heads like less sometimes then add your 11 to 1 compression and your right back to stock. Rich is slow!

For the moment i've swapped the jets for 78 prim and 79 secs which is as near to stock that i can achieve with the jets i have available.
I'm taking the car out tomorrow, i'm also going to try unbolting my dynaflows and try the 3.5x18" collectors i've got.

My 950hp came 78prim and 79sec I removed the power valve in the rear and jetted up to 87's with jet extensions.
If your car leaves the line fast the gas will rush to the back of the fuel bowl and the fuel will not flow through the power valve.
