I have installed a Strange Dana 60 in my Hemi Challenger and I am trying to get the right length driveshaft. I bought a slip yoke from Strange (1350 u joints). Their website says to bottom out the slip yoke in the trans take the measurement and then subtract 1".
This leaves me with a 45.62 long driveshaft. The charts say my driveshaft should be 44.60 long. Did Ma Mopar allow 2" from bottomed out in the trans?
The car had an 8 3/4 in it and the driveshaft was 45.25 long. The charts say it should have had a 45.60 long driveshaft. I asked Strange and they informed me their stuff is the same dimensionally as the originals.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I just talked to a different guy at Strange and he told me their slip yoke is 1" shorter than stock and that is where the difference is.
