I would put about 5 quarts in and run till warmed up. Run through the gears and check in nuetral and fill to the full mark. Full level remains constant even with a deep pan.

DEPENDS on a lot of things ...size of the converter, the size of the trans cooler, and the depth of the pan. Now running the level the same NO MATTER what depth the pan is ? .. is a personal choice. I have a big-time-deep Fairbanks pan(5 quarts more) on my stuff and I run the level WAY lower .. to prevent ATF and windage probs.

I have a 10" turbo action converter, and a cooler roughly 14" by 6", MSC

Full is like I said full. I do run mine at about half way between the add and the full mark. I like the added fluid volume as it helps the transmission fluid stay slightly cooler.
