Or lack there of !!

Since new Challenger BIWs are made of unobtainium and even 6 cyl. used cars still pull $20k+ what the heck do we Mopar lovers have to choose from? Don't misunderstand, I love the old cars, but I thought having something more contemporary would be nice as well.

I'm building a heads up car that needs to have stock firewall and front frames. I have a real nice '65 Belvedere post, but wondered how much of a disadvantage it is versus newer stangs and camaros aerodynamically? I know drag coefficients come into play with cars going 160+, just not sure how much. It doesn't look like the new Chally is that slippery compared to some others, but it's got to be better then the old taxi

I have been really lookin forward to picking up an ex-pro stock car.
That probally wont help you out with your stock frame rails though.
Maybe you could get a GT car, dont those have stock rails and such?

A bodies appear to have less frontal area than E & B bodies and came with provisions for V-8s.

I recall reading something about Chrysler doing extensive comparisons between E and A bodies in the early-to-mid '70's. While I don't recall the announced results, it seems that most Pro Stock teams that ran E bodies started switchinbg to A bodies around '72-'73.
