Well I got the pump, filter , and the rear of the fuel cell mounted tonight.. So now all I have to do is hook up the lines and run the return and make front brackets for it then I'm done.. But thank god my wife is small. I could have never goten my hand in the cell to put the return fitting in, until she she hey honey why not take the ring off... It looks like the back is kind of free floating, even if theres straps under neath. Tech guy might have a problem with that.
Otherwise,

Looks good ! Lines to the pump look a little small though. All depends on the HP level though . #12 to the pump #10 to the regs.

Ended up with the Mallory 250 pump and filter I think it was the 500.. The lines are -10 to -8 from the pump.. Moneys tight and the -8 lines where there so I used them.. and then -10 return.. Im going to up grade later on.. The back of the tank isn't supported yet.. I got to make brackets for it, try to get that done tonight..

dont forget the ground strap from the fuel cell fill hole to the frame.to get your hand inside the cell sometimes you need to take off the fill cap ring[not sure of itom name]then reinstall it.the foam can be removed easier this way also.

Mine is mounted in the tire well on aluminum
square blocks of metal bolted through the floor
pan with washers/nuts.

But if you are going to keep it up high like
showen in your picture then you will need to
built some kind of a frame to support the
weight of the cell/fuel.

Yeah, I'd like to keep it up there, it just makes it easier for the lines plus I mounted the pump and filter on the chute mount in the well. So I'm not sure if just like some L brackets would work or I'd have to build a whole new frame for it. Think cheap though.. I'm broke..LOL

Mine has 2 pieces of 2" strap (1/8" thick) welded across the tire well from front to back, nice and simple and looks clean...

Some two inch aluminum or steel angle will work, bolted into and across the floor, bolt the fuel cell retaining straps onto the angle

If you`re running a glass deck lid you could do as I had done and mount your rear bracket to where the striker was located for the trunk latch is . Since you aren`t using it now. Have a close look at the pic. of mine.

When any discussion on fuel cells takes place, I like to know if car is ever driven on the street, and if so, with any passengers? Those answers I think are important as to how problems are solved. And for asking others.

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.
