You can get them from y1 but I can't recall the differences between them and the originals if you're looking for perfect.
I can't afford this.

The brackets from Jack's look like they use a little heavier gauge metal than the YR-1 brackets  I have a set of YR-1 and a set of original brackets, the YR-1's are cheaply made IMO and 
I'd try the ones from Jack's if I was looking for another set.

I think this has been brought up before and found Hoffmans brckts are the best sets avail. If someone would like to measure a known set of originals, I will do the same on the HWC supplied reproductions ps- HWC no longer sells direct

Bill, I've packed these away since the photos but I think they are 3/16" thick. I'll have to dig them out to be sure. Here's the measurements I took a while back.....it was tough to hold the tape measure and click off the photos

I questioned the correctness of the first "kit" that they advertized but this current set looks very correct (IMO). My opinion is more from the hood pin shape than anything. The lanyards look fairly correct and they provide rivets instead of screws and correct looking washers.

Good question!! It is $140 I think on Frank's website. Could they be getting it from the same source?
Anybody get one of these Ebay kits yet?
I want to get the right set-up to put on this winter when I "Organisol" the hood.
