My car is a bit quicker with Champion RN9YC. It has 9.7 CR in the 360.

Or its equivalent.... he's running a 9 now and he's
having a issue with his plugs being dark.... but he
is also running 10* timing at idle 36 total, I suggested
a hotter plug and up his idle timing to 18 and
decrease his advance to keep his total timing the same

I think Im going to buy a set of the 12's, and I already have the jets to tinker with while at the track. I know more is in there, I just want to be able to get to it.

Thanks Mr P body, and everyone else for helping me with all my stupid little questions. I know u guys have the experiance racing so I like going to the source.

Kasey I believe your biggest issue is the 10* timing
at idle... get that up and the engine will come to life
still maintain the 36 total.... what dist are you using

Well guys, I have to say....

I put the 11 plugs in it, adjusted the MSD distributor with the black bushing, 1 light silver spring, and 1 blue spring. Checked my timming which was DEAD NUTS on 18 initial, and 36 at 3K. Holy Crap!!! This is honestly the first time the car has "come to life" I noticed imediatly it sounded crisper, and as I drove it it had better power, and felt great. I took it a few miles down the road, turned aroun, piss pownded it after a mild launch, and it was fun!! I crused into town and slowed to 25ish before getting into town, then nailed it, banged 2nd and the Mickey ET streets tore loose, and she went all sorts of sideways... KASEY LIKEY!!!

Now I just have to set my pinion angle, and get her to cool better, and we are gonna have some fun.

Mopar muscle cars left the factory with Champions. I know Chrysler got there hands in alot of pie but I don't remember them making lawn mowers. My Toro had a champion plug in it when new also. Put autolites in a Ford and AC Delco plugs in a chevy where they belong. Tried and tested Champion allways comes out on top in head to head tests with other brand spark plugs. When I get a minute I will look up a couple old mags that tested spark plugs and post them.
